Finally, she finds out her father has disappeared - kidnapped by the Fairy King. In order to save her father before midsummer, she must venture into Otherworld, joining forces with Alec, descendant of the Tuatha Dé Danann, and his team of Otherworld Guardians. But Alec has his own thirst for revenge against the Fairy King and may be helping her - or using her.
