I have a friend who owns a restaurant. He says tourism and travel to DC in recent months has devastated many restaurants in DC. So, yes, Trump is lying. Again.
Trump: "You can go and eat at the restaurants. The restaurants are booming. They were closing one after another and now they're booming, they're opening. Nobody has ever seen a transformation like they have in Washington DC. It's as hot as it can get."

Reuters photographer Jonathan Ernst noticed that Bondi flipped open a file during the Senate hearing and he zoomed in.

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.

The GOP now practicing Cliff's Notes Fascism

In other words, under oath Bondi was purely a performance.

America is bailing out Argentina, while Argentine farmers sell soybeans to China instead of American farmers, thereby bankrupting them, which is why America also have to bail out American farmers.

If this is considered winning, I fear what losing looks like.

Trump is bailing out Argentina’s economy to the tune of $20 billion while our farmers are enduring a crisis that he caused with his tariffs.

On top of that, food, housing, health care and electricity costs continue skyrocketing.

That’s not putting America first.

Sending troops into US cities against their will.

Strong-arming corporations and extracting gifts in exchange for tariff exemptions.

Calling on state governments to gerrymander in his favor.

Trump is the "big government" nightmare conservatives have always warned us about.

Based on crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don't have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6 million people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday. That's nearly 2% of the U.S. pop!

Mobilized anti-Trump resistance is exceeding 2017 levels
"No Kings Day" protests turn out millions
Our unofficial estimate is that around 4 million people attended a protest event yesterday. Anti-Trump resistance is outpacing 2017.

Psst…those 1950s manufacturing jobs Trump loves so much?

They were good jobs because they were UNION jobs.

Oh...and taxes on corporations and the rich were much higher.

Trump’s agenda won’t bring back the “Golden Age.”

It’ll make the rich richer at everyone else's expense.

I say all this to say, stop it. Biden was old, tired, not as sharp in language, recall or gait as two years before.

But he was doing the job and doing it well. Sadly he was not able to effectively do the Comms part of the job which requires vigor & charisma.

Now do a wellness check on Trump.
Since we’re playing these games. Name this President. Correct answer is below in the thread.

Now, instead of funding disaster relief, the GOP directed $300M in FEMA funding to pay for Trump's golf security while communities destroyed by natural disasters are being denied aid.

Again and again, he chooses himself over Americans.

Trump will reportedly end the IRS Direct File program that allowed taxpayers to file taxes for free.

This comes after Intuit, the maker of TurboTax, lobbied the government for years to block IRS free file.

Intuit donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration.
