Hello, we're Knave of Cups

We launched on April 1st 2022 (not a joke)

We're named after the Page of Cups, the tarot card meaning youthful, unexpected inspiration that springs from the unconscious mind

(that's the fish - that's who's whispering grand ideas)
🧵
A brightly-colored spread of products arranged around a painted wooden sculpture of the Knave of Cups logo (a lavender fish springing out of a mystical lavender chalice). The products range from blue and pink dice to psychedelic playing cards to holographic tarot cards to TTRPG zines

someone on the Motorola forums was having the same problem with the camera I've been having, but I just have to share the image they posted to demonstrate the issue.
it's the funniest shit I've ever seen in my life dude

The photo is of an elderly woman in gray clothes that has been so bizarrely processed that it looks both totally over and desaturated

Just don't share A.I. slop of any sort. I've seen a wave of Sora shit on various social media platforms.
A.I. is destructive on too many levels to ever encourage anyone to use it, and sharing or liking is encouragement.
Complicity in the destruction of our planet and humanity.

👣The Dance of Death Bundle - 2 tarot-driven solo RPGs, each complementing the other to create a duet
📚bookmark microRPGs - a collection of 5 games to play in a book
🚙TORQ - a post-apocalyptic RPG where the cars drive fast but cooperation is the rule of the wastes
The Dance of Death Bundle is two games displayed together, Venatores and Belluae. Venatores is black print on a white background. The title is in all caps, vertically, down the spine. Its main image is obscured behind the other game, Belluae, a game of becoming something monstrous by Seb Pines (black and white on a black background, title also in all caps, vertical down the spine). The main image is a monster wrapped in shreds of clothing, holding its arms out. A fanned-out collection of five bookmarks. Each is a tiny RPG, each has a different vibe - one looks like a map, one looks minimalist, two are pastel, and the one on top is black with white brush strokes for decoration. Its title is "words unsaid, a revision game for one, a spines rpg" The cover of Torq: Operator manual, rallyraid roleplaying by will jobst. The game is rectangular but oriented horizontally. The title appears in a cream-on-yellow, fat, 70s-inspired font, tipped to imply motion, with the "o" and the "q" extra-round to look like wheels

There's a tale of a dead-eyed corporate zombie who has absolutely no regard for the welfare of others and has become utterly hell-bent on delivering a provably dangerous technology purely for personal profit.

And the other one wanted to smuggle Xenomorphs back to Earth.
Paul Reiser as "Carter Burke" from the film ALIENS. Sam Altman, a pallid, dead-eyed white man making a gesture of emphasis with his left hand.

Arriving Friday - The Aisling Tarot
🍁
A deluxe, Gothic Lolita-flavored, coffin-shaped Rider Waite deck full of symbolism, dark details, and autumn vibes
A example spread from the Aisling Tarot. Three prism-shaped cards, The Sun (orange tones, a circus performer with a striped dress and stockings stands above a carousel and holds a smiling sun), The Eight of Cups (pink tones, eight chalices with lunar symbols on them at a stone gateway, floating steps ascend toward the moon), and The Two of Swords (purple tones, two hands reach toward a broken hand mirror with two crossed daggers atop its handle). Also visible in the photo: a two-part box (also coffin-shaped), the rest of the cards spread face down, and the instruction manual

Ttrpg design is wild because half the time you're thinking "I wonder if I can make people do vector calculus to resolve an attack check" and the other half of the time your game is called Monster Butts and the rules are that if a monster hits you with its butt you become a monster.
