A pair of hand cut sterling silver earrings. Each has a round cabochon of amber at the top, an elongated trapezoidal specimen of Red Creek jasper, and three smaller round cabochon of Oregon sunstone at the bottom, all set into scalloped bezels. The backings are sterling silver, scalloped and stamped freehand. In place of French wires, there are small lobster clasps on the jump rings at the top, because I clip my earrings onto titanium clicker hoops in my lobes.

I think it is a huge mistake and that you are trying to shove a deeply flawed, half-baked, unregulated and downright dangerous technology into an app that works perfectly fine without it. I say this as an IT professional with over 25 years of experience, 13 of which has been in cloud solution architecture. WE DO NOT NEED AI. Not the way it exists today. It is too error-prone, it scrapes content without authorization or knowledge of the content owner, it is used to create CSAM and revenge porn, it is used in the dissemination of misinformation and disinformation, and has been directly responsible for several suicides of both children and adults. No one wants the lack-of-consent plagiarism machine scraping their content, their private chats, their photos and art.

Re-wrapped this gorgeous snowflake obsidian and made a necklace for it.
An oblong piece of polished snowflake obsidian with large flakes, wrapped in silver-plated wire. There is a spiral at the base of the bail, and one near the bottom of the stone, descending from a section of wrapped wire on the left side of the stone. The pendant is suspended on a necklace made of oval snowflake obsidian beads alternated with small round fire agate beads (shades of grey, white and translucent), separated with small silver-plated rondel beads. The necklace is hanging on a black velvet necklace display bust.

A hand is holding two fused glass wreaths from Nora Reed. The smaller one on the left is about 1.5 inches in diameter with a small middle hole. It has swirls of blue, green and purple. The larger one on the right is about 2.75 inches in diameter with a larger central hole, and is made of clear and dichroic glass in shades of ice blue, turquoise, purple and green. Both have loops of white satin ribbon for hanging.

I was a history teacher for more than 30 years. Happily, I retired before the current move to erase history took hold. In my classroom were students whose families had fled the Khmer Rouge, whose ancestors had been enslaved, whose parents were forced to flee when the ayatollah took over in Iran. My own parents were Holocaust survivors. These horrific events happened. My students saw images of swastikas and representations of the Trail of Tears, the forced displacement of Native Americans. They listened to Billie Holiday sing "Strange Fruit," a song about lynchings in the South, In the safe environment of my classroom, where we all knew each other and had built a framework of trust, students moved beyond the trauma and learned to be comfortable with discomfort, to understand the world better and live in it more productively and more proactively Ignorance is not bliss.
