People have no idea how well priced Bibi's disability/mobility aids are and how excellent the quality is. Bibi's stuff LASTS. It wears well. And Bibi is bending over backwards to accommodate US customers right now due to tariffs we never wanted and Bibi has no control over.

This isn't towards those who are broke.

I've noticed that people devalue my work. I could have hundreds of reviews raving about my products. But people only wanna support me if they feel they're getting a VERY "cheap" price. While so many other creators can charge whatever for their products.

I make very little profit off my sales as is. And depend on making a lot of sales to stay afloat. Yes my prices aren't the cheapest. But it's just not possible if people want quality, size and color options. I am doing what I can. I am a small business owner, not a huge brand.

I am moving to using a US Fullfiment Centre for US customers. It will take weeks to fully implement. I am having to pay several thousands for the shipping of products to the US and the custom fees. I am depleting my savings. I am scared and stressed. I just wish people could see that I'm trying.

I've never had sales be this bad since I started my business. All that's changed is customers having to pay a tariff up to 55% on average. Yes that's a lot. But it isn't my fault. Even with that additional increase. My products are still worth it for the quality.

The tariffs have been a wake up call and reminder that people don't value my work. I get people not wanting to pay the tariffs. Again. I didn't implement them. I don't profit off them. Even with the tariffs, many of my products are still very affordable. I haven't raised prices.

One thing that doesn't get talked about when discussing how difficult it is for trans people to secure employment is that once you DO find a job, even somewhere "progressive, affirming", your identity & their knowledge of how hard it would be for you to find something else will be used against you.
