Supposed to have what may be the last session of a multi-year campaign this weekend. We'll see how things go. Otherwise really busy with house and other stuff, so not much other gaming unfortunately.

Now, nearly two years into my medical transition, I'm happier, more confident, and more myself than I think I've ever been. And I have my moments of reflecting on my past and seeing things that make sense now, in my current context, but only now. They weren't anything important then.

As someone who lacked context and language for transition and so it didn't even occur to me that this might be me until I was in my 40s, this makes a ton of sense. Even once I started to have the language, The Story kept me from getting there.

Rogue Trader. They really managed to nail how Rogue Trader's operate in a way that I thought they might struggle with and the story and characters are great. The mechanics in the game share a lot of DNA with its TTRPG forebear.

My partner's the real cat person in the family, but he bonded with me for some reason. Though occasionally, for some reason, he decides to torment me and as soon as she turns around, he's a model of good behavior.

When my youngest was in elementary, my partner and my youngest would see him in the window of house on the walk and they called him "eyebrow kitty" because of his markings. Then it turned his owner needed to re-home him due to allergies, so we adopted him.

I was born five years before the first one was released and still have never seen it (or if I have, I don't remember it) or the others outside of clips here and there. My parents were always wildly inconsistent about what was or was not okay (often disagreed between the two of them on the topic).

Probably video games. I have no RPG sessions scheduled this weekend sadly. Just have to figure out what I'm interested in: zombies (7 Days to Die), fantasy (Dragon Quest 3 or Final Fantasy 6), sci-fi (Rogue Trader), or one of the MMOs I fall into and out of on occasion.
