Gave my Government student a survey task based on the article, “Must the president be a moral leader?” by Michael Blake.
I gave them the article to read and asked them to use their phones to engage in the survey activity on #Mentimeter.

This is also true at the high school level. It’s a crisis that seems to be escalating.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

We now live in the kind of nation that we used to teach kids in school to be fearful of.
I am having a hard time teaching kids today otherwise.
And some of them are asking questions I can’t answer objectively.
