I remember seeing one of the Matrix sequels here in college. It was a terrible film but that made me kinda love this place for some reason. I’m glad it will stay a cinema.
Big news: After decades of vacancy, a deal has been reached to sell the beloved Metro Theater, art deco jewel on the UWS. The buyer is a community non-profit planning to create an art house cinema.
