Like a peasant I still have to manually suffer through this JS DLL hell every 2 years to meet Play Store upgrade treadmill requirements.

We owe the concept of “scraping” to the big walled-garden tech companies (ebay, facebook) seeking to restrict others from accessing their websites. By its nature, I think it is antithetical to the idea of the open web.
