My name is Lo, and I paint a lot of children's book friendly fantasy illustrations. Among other things.
And sometimes I take photos of mushrooms and garden projects (I'm also a landscaper), but never selfies. Don't look at me.

I know the Internet is for cats, so I'd like to announce that these two idiots are doing fine.
They lost their mother at 6 weeks old, so I am their father now. I think I'm doing okay.
They don't know their names yet, but do respond to "cat boys".
The dog is offended by their presence..

The worst part about not going to the beach so often anymore, is that when I do, all the stones look cool and must be inspected.
What used to be a 40 minute walk has taken almost two hours. The dog is very tired. My pockets are very heavy.

Less than a month to go to my exhibition!
I realised I didn't have a proper artist bio to display, but I hate writing those, so I made this thing instead. It basically says that I'm very good at chopping wood, very bad at dancing, and I like rocks and mushrooms. That should be enough, right?

Good morning #InverteFest. No moth trap today, so here's some bug art from my Insecta deck.

I illustrated each card in colour pencil, & drew each insect individually (no copy-pasting of bugs, even on the high number cards.)

Her wings are transparent honey coloured. she has little black eyes and long black antennas. 6 different designs from an insect themed poker deck - 1 card face from each of the 4 suits, and the 2 card back designs - all featuring colourful hand-drawn insects. Details: here's what the 6 designs are. King of clubs, a big shiny blue-green female scarab beetle with white club symbols on its back. Jack of diamonds, a colourful pink cockroach nymph with very long thin antennas and red diamond symbols on its back. 10 of hearts, 10 yellow and black striped honey wasps with pointy butts that have big red hearts on. 3 of spades, 3 green and blue horned shield bugs with white spade symbols on their backs. The ruby card back design with a big ruby jewel wasp on a sunset coloured background of insect silhouettes. The opal card back design with a black and blue ground beetle on a background of blue and green insect silhouettes.
