Interesting. With no press present, why were there camera flashes appearing intermittently? Also, Trump was very eloquent and spoke quite well, better than I remember him speaking lately when there where witnesses.

Anyway thank you @drgonzo123.bsky.social for such a creative and layered labor of love, absolutely amazing, all of the accolades are thoroughly deserved.

There’s such a wonderful exercise of loving the horrible things that happen to your character, it’s not something I’ve seen a lot of players be able to embrace, the #DeltaGreen world leans into that super hard, everyone is feeling like their roleplaying is leveling up with this, pardon the metatext.

The magical moments remain that weird place of horrified satisfaction “it’s a goddamn clown Oh God I FUCKING KNEW IT” kinda thing where the players have just been swimming in hints of terrifyingly ambiguous clues of awful things and then the world satisfies that, even to the detriment of the PCs.

The primary challenge of this campaign is that it’s an investigation into predetermination and futility, done through the rpg activity where a sense of agency has to stay imperative, I’m nervous about that but the advice is solid: focus on the characters’ journeys which remain collaborative & unique

The best part of a horror campaign is when the players start to split between those who are like “I’m just trying to get through all this with my humanity intact” and those who are like “we’re the ones who have to nuke everything about this from orbit, innocents be dammed” and both are right haha.

We’ve had 4 sessions so far, campaign opens with a fun haunted apartment building in NYC in the 90s.

While I’ve always had fun with light horror elements in various games this is the first “we’re absolutely doing this FOR the pursuit of horror” and bless my players they are nervous but open to it.

While I think we should be incredibly relieved that our country’s biggest collection of fascist-loving assholes are entirely vibes-based and have the political acuity of a moldy peanut, we can also appreciate that their persecution complexes keep them pathetically self-marginized and miserable.
