Yeah, Dagon is on the grosser side of things for sure. Dolls is a good bit of fun (and less gross than his usual). If you haven’t seen From Beyond yet, I’d also recommend it very strongly, it might be my favorite from him, although it’s on par or maybe grosser even than Dagon, so ymmv.

Dead and Buried is fantastic, and the Crazies remake was really solid too. Wanted to see Messiah of Evil for a while now, didn’t think of it in connection to this so thats moving right on up the list. Only vaguely familiar with Grabbers, so I’ll look into that too! Ty for the recs!

I skew on the higher side (9 or 10/10), but mostly due to personal bias, and maybe a bit of nostalgia. Definitely a flawed game, but I’m glad you enjoyed it overall! You have any plans to play through any of the others? 3 is also great, in a slightly different way.

I’d love to see The Fog in cinemas, I’m a bit jealous; I can imagine that being a great time for sure! Dagon is also fantastic, I love almost anything Stuart Gordon. I’ve been debating on whether my wife would enjoy it or not, I think it’s 50/50.

Midnight Mass was fantastic; Flanagan in general is a great vibe for Halloween honestly. Dead and Buried and The Fog are actually some of my top options, especially the former; I was so impressed with that one.

The Block Island Sound has been on my watchlist for a while, so that’s now a top pick!

Yeah, there’s definitely a lot more immediate frustration in Silksong for me; definitely love it but I suck hard and I feel its a bit buggier as well
