In this woman’s case, they specifically said she was arrested because she refused to roll down her window and provide identification. The Florida Highway Patrol was working in joint efforts with ICE. This poor woman didn’t stand a chance. Not submitting to the gestapo is same treatment. 😭

Don’t forget, the language says it’s per offense. It’s not clear if each call is an offense so it’s not JUST $500K. It could be millions and they are the ones determining the standard.

I got my kids out of bed. We rarely see any activity here but I signed up for alerts in our zip code a few years ago and tonight was our moment. It was very special to both my kids.
