According to incident reports, they wanted both girls and boys as young as 12 for sex. "I did not even have breasts", one anonymous girl claimed in her statement. She relayed to UN investigators that from the ages of 12 to 15, she been raped by over 40 peacekeepers, including a man known as "Commandant", who paid her 75 cents. She stated that she spent that time sleeping in UN trucks on the UN base itself. According to the Associated Press article that made the events public, they lured children with offers of candy and cash.

Und schon tauchte der Geist des Wassers auf und sprach:

Ich seh', ich seh' ein großes Haus - da kommt gar mancher Dreck heraus.

Luft und Wasser werden krank,
Was sollt ihr tun?

Geht zu den Menschen und sagt ihnen dies:

Wenn ihr den letzten Teich, den letzten Flußs vergiftet habt, werdet ihr merken, daß ihr euer Geld nicht essen könntl

Schau mal, da kommt ja noch jemand!

Frosch! Hallo, so eine Uberraschung!
Hallo, Freunde!
Wo wollt ihr denn hin?
Wir wollen auswandern, weil unser Teich so dreckig ist.
Bist du auf deiner Reise an sauberem Wasser vorbeigekommen?

Nein, mir ging es genauso wie euch! Ich wollte auch einen sauberen, ruhigen Teich suchen. Aber jetzt bin ich schon über ein Jahr unterwegs und habe noch keinen gefunden. Entweder führen große Straßen daran vorbei, oder es fließen Abwässer hinein. Andere wurden trockengelegt. Auch in vielen Flüssen habe ich kranke Tiere getroffen. Und stellt euch vor, an manchen Gewässern war es ganz still, unheimlich still.

Und als ich hinkam, gab es überhaupt keine Tiere mehr, die darin lebten.
