Hey Brits! I'm sure you've seen this, but quite a lot of us don't dig this move. I certainly don't.
Seems invasive and quite open to abuse (and hacking!), especially looking at the shower in power and the worse shower waiting in the wings. Yeesh.

Painted the old Warhammer Forge basilisk, which I lured out from the den it had made in my pile of shame many years ago. Got it without the original base, so built one up with citadel wood bits! Going to be using it for the Old World, where it'll be counting as a jabberslythe among my Beastmen.

Painted up the games day '09 Exalted Champion of Chaos! Soooo wanted this guy as a kid, so really enjoyed getting to paint him. While the horns' red tint is inspired by the cover of The Lost and the Damned, the rest of the scheme is inspired by another artwork. Points if you can guess it!

HOT FRESH NEW ART! A two-headed Ash Drake confronts a perhaps outmatched little warband, in this illustration from the just-released Champions of Chaos for Age of Sigmar: Soulbound!

A monstrous two-headed Ash Drake, enveloped in a cloud of volcanic ash, circles round a rocky outcrop to ambush a Chaos warband and oh my days, is it not going to go well for them. One of them readies his spear to throw it, one is in a fighting crouch, and one is intent on attacking the tail of the Drake before it spikes them.

Behold the record of a bloody conflict, whereupon the brayherds of @korartificer.bsky.social met the ogre raiders of Bellanos the Vast upon the site of a ruined shrine in the Empire's borderlands. The beasts of Chaos may have been driven back for the moment, but their cunning leader survives yet...

The battle lines are formed, and a wall of stout (and bad-smelling) ogres marches hungrily towards the roaring (and equally bad-smelling) beastmen near the woodline.

Ogre leadbelchers line up their improvised guns, the Gor herd in the distance squarely in their sights.

A devastating volley from the leadbelchers has absolutely shredded the Bray-shaman's protective herd of Ungors.

A wall of ogres slams into the Wargor and his Gor bodyguard, sending limbs flying everywhere due to the impact.

I hope the army list keeps up the rough, cut-throat, barely-above-bandits tone that appears in some older publications about the Border Princes - brigands as their core would definitely be a good start! My perception of that realm always goes back to this excerpt from WFRP2e's Renegade Crowns:

Ilsa crouched behind the rock where her guide had dragged
her, and she watched in silence. She didn’t want to get caught
up in a fight between gangs of ruffians. The man with the
hammer had only a few thugs backing him up, but he seemed
much more confident than the other. The fight that followed
showed why; not only was he skilled, his thugs fought like
experienced mercenaries, and the other man’s like conscripted
peasants. The battle did not last very long, and Ilsa remained
hidden while the throats of the survivors were cut.When it was
quiet, her guide turned to her.
“So, what do you think of Prince Siegmund, then?”
“He doesn’t seem to be able to control the bandits in his
lands, if they can brawl so openly.” The guide stared at her
for a moment and then laughed out loud.
“Bandits? That was Prince Siegmund and his army, meeting
Grand Duke Hugo and his army in glorious battle. New to the
Borderlands, aren’t you...”
