Geen minister van Digitale Zaken; gemiste kans van D66, CDA en VVD.

Goed dat de posten verdeeld zijn. Maar terwijl Amerikaanse techbros onze toekomst bepalen, staat Europa aan de zijlijn. AI, sociale media, de Cloud--het is geen bijzaak, maar hoofdzaak.

Daar is prioriteit en regie voor nodig.

In deze tijd hebben we een sterker Europa nodig.

Maar de coalitie lijkt de 1,6 miljard bezuiniging op onze EU-bijdrage van Schoof door te zetten. Sterker nog, ze lijken die bezuiniging vergeten te zijn.

Coalitie, willen we meer van Europa voor minder? Of dragen we bij aan een sterk Europa?

Without its bases in Europe the US is no longer a global power (insofar as it still is, given its devastated shipbuilding/ ship maintenance industry)

Na doorvragen in debat durft Schoof Trump eindelijk te veroordelen: “het is niet acceptabel” dat de VS zich bemoeien met de Europese democratie.

Als we geen speelbal willen zijn van bemoeizuchtige grootmachten, moeten we zelf een grootmacht worden—een Verenigde Staten van Europa.
