Computers make my life so much easier, though. And the kids do benefit from the instant feedback. I might weigh online work severely low and written, controlled work high. Even at like a 5/95 ratio.

I give them their assignment online as well. The website shows me how long they take on each problem and how many they got correct or incorrect in a row. So I can see like CICCICCCI, for example. The ones they're answering at home? CCCCCCCCCC all under 20 seconds.

I'm teaching summer school right now and the kids get my online entry ticket correct inside of 60 seconds (a simple algebra equation), but when they see the same type of content on the quiz (on paper), they can't do it.
