Just to add to the official account reply: it's a sadly surprisingly little known fact that Altmetric doesn't discriminate based on language. We look for identifiers, which are happily language neutral!

I have found so many MDPI papers from the same authors that seem to include near carbon copies of data from their other papers that are in other journals, sometimes MDPI!
