The way the Trump admin keeps drunkenly stumbling into doing federal oversight of industry while trying to attack immigrants isn't great, but it's by far the least bad outcome of Miller being the shadow president.

It does seem apparent that the Trump admin is only doing this because a lot of truck drivers are immigrants, and a court struck down their attempt to outright ban immigrants from getting CDLs.

I don't know how much I trust them to enforce this evenly without some kind of graft, but it is a problem.

Yes I know, that's what I'm talking about as well. Very few of those are designed around the idea that the time limit will be a challenge and that some students won't finish the test.

Yeah, I'm autistic and had the option for extra time accommodations, but I never used them because I'd always finish early anyway. Extra time would just be another 30 minutes of fretting over my answers.

So, it wouldn't have helped you that much then, if the difference is between an A and an A+.

I also think if you're losing points on a test because you ran out of time, it means you're either a lot slower at taking tests than average, or the test is too long for the time limit.

If it would've helped you a lot, didn't you need it by definition?

The Galapagos are beautiful, but most of the land is either impenetrable jungle or a volcanic moonscape that looks like Mordor if it were illustrated by Dr. Seuss.

It's the room where the mud is stored, the bathtubs are where the mud goes.

This is a fantastic visual representation of what a vibe coded software project ends up looking like.

Yeah man, I personally sabotaged the signaling on the Orange Line just so I could have the satisfaction of blasting past you on SW Corridor Park, a mixed use path that definitely used to be a bus lane before the evil cyclists hijacked it.

Or is that only 1/100,000th of the people commuting from your suburb are commuting to a service worker job?

Because that's actually plausible.
December 1, 2025 at 11:25 PM
So is your argument here that the rest of Boston is only 1/100,000 the density of the business center, or it that only 1/100,000 of service workers are commuting to their service jobs?
December 1, 2025 at 11:25 PM
A shitload! It'll cause a massive traffic jam, and an additional lane would still not even come close to being adequate.

That's what happens when you regularly shut down what was once supposedly the most reliable rail system in the world or whatever. Those pesky bikes and their signal upgrades!
December 1, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Don't wanna change your answer?
December 1, 2025 at 11:20 PM
Oh wait no, nevermind, it's because they're upgrading their rail signals. And they offer shuttle bus service, plus commuter rail service, plus there's a four mile long bike detour for those who know that you can take a bike on the subway.
December 1, 2025 at 11:19 PM
You think that 1 in 100,000 people in the city of Boston is a service worker? Is that your final answer?
