It’s like a form of self hatred or maybe hatred of their parents. My dad came from Egypt and worked as a hospital consultant for more than 50 years. I remember the racism he faced. But he helped everyone. I’m not sure I could be that magnanimous. But it’s given me a passion to treat everyone fairly.
