The shift to a "digital only immigration system" is already causing distress and exclusion for many migrants.
Our work with the University of Warwick has shown significant issues with the system.
We will be launching our report later today detailing the problems.

When care workers are scared to look after people, something has gone very, very wrong.

We're here to demand a better system for people seeking safety, but we'll never have that until we end the relentless tide of hostility towards all migrants, whatever their reason for coming to the UK.

A failure by sections of the press to challenge anti-asylum lies, and a political landscape which sees even government ministers actively pander to them, has emboldened the far right this summer.
An important piece by @migrantvoice.bsky.social on the "normalisation" of anti-immigration ideology.
Over the summer we have seen an increasing "normalisation" of hostile rhetoric and actions against migrants, including those seeking asylum. This is emboldened by a media and political narrative which fails to challenge misinformation. Our latest editorial👇

No refugee underfunded a school.

No refugee closed a hospital.

No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled.
