What now? We must demand a thorough investigation into the killing of Renee Good and accountability for the ICE agent involved — especially as Trump’s FBI blocks state law enforcement from the investigation and continues to make unfounded claims.

This kind of violence is not isolated; it is the predictable outcome of a shoot-first approach adopted by the Trump administration. This approach serves the gun lobby — which paid to elect Trump his first term.
