During October, I won't be able to ship any orders due to travel. My knitting patterns (shown here) don't need shipping, though! $7 each. ko-fi.com/crippledcomm...

A knitted hat with the disability pride flag on it: diagonal stripes in red, yellow, white, blue, and green on a black background an in-progress knitted beanie in the bisexual flag colors with a knotted stitch texture throughout A pair of rainbow striped knitted socks with a repeating heart lace motif A pair of knitted beanies with stripes in shades of grey, pink, and blue, and the text "IT/ITS" written in curly letters

Pair 1 of 3 glasses arrived — the frames I’ve had for the past year+ with new lenses — regular/distance glasses.

Waiting for my readers and my new sunglasses (same rx as the glasses that came today).

Been wearing an old rx in tiny frames for a couple of weeks -/ these are such a relief for my eyes

Catholic anymore. We’re sort of… nothing. Adrift so to speak)
kristinwrites.bsky.social
There’s definitely a subset of Catholics tho that lean toward those evangelical tendencies… I’ve had friends ask me “you let your kids read xx? Aren’t you worried about occult references?” Um. No.

My kids don’t like true horrid but they looooove magic in many permutations. (We’re also not actively

Yay!

Since Covid reinfection when I stopped everything bc I couldn’t swallow I’m on WAY less stuff but the supplements I do take I know are essential. I notice if I miss a dose. Naturally they’re like the most expensive things I was taking. Oh well.
kristinwrites.bsky.social
Oh, interesting. I grew up catholic but my parents/community were not like that.
kristinwrites.bsky.social
I wondered about that bc I also dont drink caffeine but I’m too scared of an MCAS reaction that’ll make me take Benadryl after all… haven’t had coffee, tea, or soda in years! If it comes to I think I’d try black tea first… hmm. Thanks!
kristinwrites.bsky.social
Thank you. Half the kids are in bed so it’s finally quiet. Lying down. Embracing the darkness like a vampire lol.

Unfortunately I can’t do aspirin so no excedrin migraine for me. It used to work for me when I had hormone migraines while nursing
kristinwrites.bsky.social
Thanks. I have a migraine hat thing in the fridge, and I’m propped. I’d sit up if my neck could tolerate it.

I do plan to ask my dr next week for some rx strength relief if he’s able to prescribe it, or referral if not.
kristinwrites.bsky.social
Ah thanks. I can’t do aspirin unfortunately so that’s out.

I’ve never tried thc.

Any MECFS/ longcovid headache (about to cross into migraine territory) remedies?

Three Advil and a Benadryl have been my go to but Benadryl makes me paralyzed…

Electrolytes, Advil, and dinner took the edge off but it’s lurking

In the first year I was bedridden I lost 15 pounds. The next year I gained it back, since then I’ve gained another 45 😱. My micronutrient panel a year and a half ago was surprisingly good given my extremely limited diet at the time. I eat better now but that doesn’t mean I’m absorbing it
kristinwrites.bsky.social
I am sorry you got in trouble for trying to express your love!
kristinwrites.bsky.social
It did make me remember how great my grandma’s hugs were when I was a kid (pretty sure we let her know we loved how squishy she was lol). One of my kids tho (the youngest) just keeps asking me WHY my belly is big and “wont push in” (my children are naturally very thin)
kristinwrites.bsky.social
I am having a really hard time accepting that longcovid has made me fat. But last night two of my children separately told me I’m “so comfortable to snuggle” so I’ll take that as a small win in this messed up situation.
kristinwrites.bsky.social
Good luck! Fyi I got worse for about three weeks when I first started it, before getting back to baseline
kristinwrites.bsky.social
I have no idea. I’m super annoyed.
kristinwrites.bsky.social
Well this is just silliness. Confirmed these low glucose alarms are false lows. Apparently a common thing, particularly at night.

Definitely makes me question the rest of the data too though! When it says 150 is that also falsely low? Nonsense.

Messaged doctor. I might just take it off.
