I learned my friend Taya works for CROSS now. And Councilmember Dean Vehrenkamp, er, Santa was in the caravan with the rest of the city vehicles, a long line of police squad cars, fire trucks, and other city vehicles making their way around the city!

As a city council member myself, I know and appreciate the local government process. I am also a fan of Mayor Maas-Kusske and have gotten to know other council members over the years from League of Minnesota Cities events. I will definitely visit again!

I would encourage anyone to visit Pearl Harbor if you can to see the memorial built over the remains of the USS Arizona including a wall of names of the service members who were lost and visit the museum at the site to learn about that day. #PearlHarborDay #pearlharbormemorial #PearlHarbor

A friend of mine passed away after her battle with homelessness and mental health, and there is a brick at the feet of the angel with her name. We will never forget our angels.

As for myself, I pray constantly for wisdom and work hard to be someone who leads with kindness, compassion, and love, as well as continue to fight to make our community, this country, and our world a better place.

No human is garbage. We are made in God’s image and are all children of God. I am praying for a change of heart in our leaders.

My schedule these days prevents me from participating as thoroughly as I’d like with some of these activities, but tonight it was great to be in the Osseo Minidazzle parade with the Legion color guard and attend a women’s Christmas dessert at my church.
