But it was free recently, two friends have praised it constantly and @jiikae.com listed it in his top 25 list.

Couldn’t stop thinking about it after I beat it so I slammed a bunch of reviews and kept the OST on repeat.
Then decided to just replay it and in rare form for me, go for the platinum.

I'm always leery when I see new games that say 'from former developers of X title' or 'ex-developers from X' title.
You often imagine the whole squad associated with the game they mentioned only to later find out it's like one or two developers and they may not have been key😅

Curious what my STG/shmup friends on here think about Sektori. I’ve only played Super Stardust HD and Geometry Wars really.

Curious what my STG/shmup friends on here think about Sektori. I’ve only played Super Stardust HD and Geometry Wars really.
Got put onto this and loved it. It’s sensory overload in all the right ways. Music made me feel like I was at some trendy club in Berlin 😅

Game is so ridiculously stylish and self aware. It’s so unique that it’s refreshing to play honestly.

It’s been great so far.

Was able to beat a little over half the Journey mode. Loved it. It’s Lumines through and through.
Really liked the song variety, too. I was not ready for Tropical Survival haha.
That said, as great as it is, gonna wait for a sale.

It’s a shame the campaign is apparently wack. That they insisted on using Gen AI on the throwaway visual assets even if it supposedly didn’t impact staffing.
