This looks like an indictment. It is. But I see it as a reason for optimism.

We don’t need to be exceptional to transform Americans' lives. We need to become average. The solutions exist. We see them working. We have to choose them. And that means fixing our democracy so that it delivers.

One of ours will eat elastics if he gets the chance, so I am hyper aware of keeping them locked away to avoid a huge vet bill

I haven't tried it but someone else had...for family movie nights at home, they would pick up both popcorns and drinks and bring them home for the kids as a treat.

I just learned this last week - apparently you can even ask for the refill at the same time?!
