Got the print wknd newspaper subscription 2 yrs ago so my then 1st grade daughter could increase her reading and general awareness. It’s a forced exercise, but it’s happening.

Occasionally I miss cable channel surfing and stumbling on a show or movie I wouldn’t initially select and be compelled to watch because of this scene. Hours of viewing lost.🤷🏾♀️

Seems counter to the Roddenberry premise. That’s unfortunate. I’ve been sharing TOS and TNG with my eight year old for a few years now. Anyone steeped in the 50+ yrs of ethics/morality tales from the Star Trek canon will turn their nose to what you described.
