This one is hard for me to accept. NOAA has been a foundation in my education since elementary school. Heck I was 3 talking about waterspouts to my grandmother & auntie and doing my own broadcast at the childrens museum in Burlington. This is a VITAL organization for the American people.
Most people don’t know what NOAA is, but they’ll notice when they have to pay for hurricane warnings or when Elon slaps a premium on tornado alerts. Project 2025 wants it gone, and if they get their way, weather forecasts might just become another luxury item. Stay informed while you still can.

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

I finally realized what bugs me about the TikTok notice: it’s not that Trump may save it, it’s the ‘we need his permission’ vibe. It feels very Handmaid’s Tale. I don’t need permission to post on a social platform. TikTok, you’re starting to feel like a bad place. Never OfTrump
