Like I think even the “Nazi bar” comparison is doing it a disservice because there’s this idea that like, oh, it’s still just a bar, we can make it our bar. It isn’t anything. It’s a piece of digital paper covered in words and images that make you upset and turns your soul into currency.

You cant buy like anything nowadays that doesnt constantly try to contact some server over some app features that Im not even going to use anyways. I block stuff but it just causes it to like go into panic mode

A few months ago they did an update that separated the engine from the rendering that makes it run much better. Still depends on what’s happening in the world your in though

im running a few worlds on one and with 4 people it was barely doing anything. so its probably fine

Yeah it’s extremely frustrating when people don’t want to take like 10% of their vr time to try a different platform because “they just want to be a dog” or whatever. It just makes you feel like that minor inconvenience isn’t worth your friendship
