Well... The data centers are coming whether we like it or not. I would rather have them implemented this way than what is being done now - clearing woodland or plopping them in the middle of residential neighbourhoods.

Your definition is correct and beside the point. The point is how it is popularly used and what to do in light of that. You missed this and flew straight into ad-hominems, and then talk of knee-jerk responses (with no sense of irony I'm sure).

This is Robert Mugabe in the closing years of his rule. The aging despot is just a figurehead propped up to give cover to those who are really running things. Trump is not in charge. He doesn't have the cognitive capacity to manage anything. Miller, Vought et al are pulling the strings.

Its tired, unproductive, and misused as a rhetorical weapon to silence criticism simply because its coming from a man. If someone is genuinely interested in equality (instead of race to the bottom one-upmanship in a gender war) I dont think they would find much use in how the term is popularly used

Best of the Best is probably the movie I rewatched the most growing up. The sequels went a very different direction but still good nostalgic fun.

I find current thinking re education interesting. In my day teachers considered it a virtue to nail you upon return, hit the road running. Discipline - keeping you agile and toughening you up was the reasoning I think. But looking back some of those folks were just sadistic.

I got a major career breakthrough this year after having struggled for almost two years. I have complete empathy for these grads. You try to tell yourself that this is systemic, but after so many attempts and failures the impression that its actually you becomes intense and harder to avoid.
