Episode 1 hit me with the unfortunate thought that perhaps good modern movies are just less "Fun" than shitty 90's movies. A terrifying thought.

In hindsight, its so weird that there was a time where people thought there should be literally no other characters besides Sonic and Eggman
its still kinda crazy how sega kinda got away with marketing sonic 4 early on by going "YUP! there's NO OTHER CHARACTERS in this one. JUST sonic and eggman. this is supposed to be a good thing!" and people clamored for it because of how the circumstances were back then

nobody buys a $5000 GPU expecting to actually use it to compute graphics and I really do not expect these prices to hold even a little bit once the obvious impending funding bubble pops and a bunch of speculatively purchased RAM and GPUs (and other hardware) end up back on market at firesale prices
