Bahh - hahaha! Re epilogue; you can always change or replace it in a few months (or years) then things slow down and re-intro it as the new version - newly edited... And put all kinds of spin on that!

Wish that was me... you've gotta have a fabulous palette of cultures, experiences, characters to draw from for your stories!

A fairly successful writer once told me, aside from don't explain everything as you go, that it's OK to have strange or surprising things happen in a story without needing explanation, sometimes ever! as long as YOU know why it is happening.

Current situation of anyone running for office needing TONS of $$ for campaigns, thereby need to court those with lots of $$, prevents this. Laws that prevent anyone from even knowing who is donating facilitate it. Can't change those laws as long as office holders don't have to depend on big money!

A teachable moment, if ever there was one...Can't fault the school system for not teaching a 7 year old that, but you CAN get a little preliminary awareness in that budding little brain there. I'd look for age-appropriate books that might help!

Lots of specifics here. Now I just have to decide on how to focus the book I'm getting ready to have the cover made for on what genre I'm actually writing in! Sci-fi Adventure, but NOT armies battling. More about friends in difficult survival situations. Sometimes using magic; Fantasy!???
