#prisonabolition is about treating humans like humans. The US has almost 2 million people incarcerated, the largest population in the world, and our government is selling them to the private prison-industrial complex so they can profit off of slave labor. It's inhumane and disgusting.

As a #writer, you can be motivated- writing when and where you want because you have some intrinsic energy. Or you can be disciplined- incorporating writing into your daily life until it becomes as natural as breathing. One isn't better than the other, but discipline is certainly easier.

Astounding to see the 104% #tariff being placed on China tomorrow. Somewhere along the way, Capitalism stole the knowledge that we're all humans trying to survive on this little blue dot. No war but the class war.

2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.

DOGE is a trojan horse for Elon to gut labor, consumer, and environmental protections.
If he actually wanted to cut waste, he'd look at the massive tax loopholes, government contracts, and subsidies that benefit the wealthy and large corporations.
