This country is deeply, deeply racist. I cannot figure out why it's so hard for people to accept the fact that tens of millions of people voted for Trump because he said he was going to deport 11 million people as a key campaign pledge and they wanted 11 million people deported.

How can anyone know what people “implicitly added” in their heads? And how does them rationalizing the literal words being told to them make it not true that they voted on the words?
