Leaving soon, but thought I'd take the opportunity for a walk. It was a feels like temp of -16⁰C! So, of course I walked down to Navy Pier and went on the ferris wheel.

I went to a Peruvian restaurant for dinner tonight. I had the duck dish. I just had water to drink as we all had a big night last week.

Spoke to hubby yesterday. He's flat out. He apologised as he hadn't realised how much I do! My little trip away has reminded him and given him a renewed appreciation! Btw, he also does a lot, but clearly I do more!🤣 He sent me this meme.

Still a lot of bruising. It's still very week and a bit numb. But slowly getting better. No cooking or cleaning as I'm away for a week for work, so that's good. On my way to airport now. I'll be in different timezone and will be quiet on here over the next week.

I have a lot of hair! It takes more than an hour just to put the foils in.

It's amazimg what your middle finger is needed for. Apollo reacted yesterday to another dog and my finger got caught in the lead. It hurts and I have no strength in it.

Here's the finished dish. The sauce is simple and extra easy to make. It takes time rolling out the pasta,but it's a traditional dish that the whole family is supposed to help with. We had it as part of a 4 course meal in Siena. Today we had it on it's own.

I'm making Pici pasta for dinner. It got a tomato sauce with a pseudo pesto, as it's not made with a mortar & pestle. Pici pasta is made with water and flour, not egg. This was a dish from our cooking school in Siena.
