comparison is the theft of joy. but it is really devastating to see skinny and beautiful people doing the same character with less effort get all the attention and compliments on how beautiful they are

meanwhile my barbara gordon cosplay, a character long described as beautiful and desirable, gets far less engagement even with a lighting and backdrop that takes time and effort.
