In primary school aged around 8 maybe 9, I suffered a lot from bullying. My teachers could also be pretty cruel and refused to help me whenever I'd report being picked on. They constantly said my behaviour was the issue, I was the problem, and backed this up by designing a rewards chart for me. 1/

I've seen many articles in the news lately about Rachel Reeves getting long-term sick benefit claiments and young people to "step up and get back into work". This attitude implies that those of us who are unemployed and/or have health conditions that requires support are shirkers not workers. 1/8
