Something I see the "Drake will be fine" camp overlooking, which is actually the crux of this whole thing:
He does still have plenty of adoring, loyal fans. But he wants *credibility* and *acceptance* from the culture.

I tweeted that he should have made a statement after the beef about straight up saying that was too far. He “lost” but, at the least, it’s on record. Instead he did the heart part 6 and said nothing. It’s too late now. We believe you less.
On one had I totally understand someone fighting tooth and nail against PEDO allegations USE ALL THE RESOURCES you can cause once you get hit with those ain't no coming back....but this a rap beef you can't call your lawyers. You just can't

Going back to acting would actually be a perfect re-entry point before doing another album. I've always wondered why he just stayed out of the acting realm altogether (except that he was acting as a rapper... kinda)
Just retire from music. There is no coming back from this.
