His feelings toward Eorzea in general are bittersweet because while many refugees found new beginnings, he also knows of the mistreatment firsthand they received. I believe even for a short period he felt guilty. "I brought them here. now they're being hurt" but it was either that or death, so...

extends forgiveness onto those who turned any refugees away--even if he still disagrees with having turned them away in the first place.

I think Red, later, understands the fear and uncertainty of befriending the unknown, but that only cowards refuse to embrace uncertainty.

Red's canonical stops in Eorzea post-Doman refugee rescue are actually relatively miniscule. This varies depending on ships and other stuff tho ykwim. He's mostly familiar with Thanalan and even then that's pretty baren. He loves the Shroud but has a distaste toward their sentiment of outsiders.

"live action roleplay" yes but larping is a COMPLETELY different thing. writing is its own thing. were people doing this. they had to have. people have been writing fanfiction since the dawn of time so i dont see this as being impossible

like okay we KNOW that early fandom existed. we have zines like the spirk one, right. so people were shipping and writing characters together.

but was there a format prior to the forum setting where people would write portions and exchange them with one another? did anybody do that?
