Develops medical laboratory software. Emphasis on medical billing. Former Treasury VP (risk mgmt stuff) at ridiculously global bank, gave that up when I figured out they ignored risk management.

Isn't that the guy who got taken away to the machine shop at the end of The Italian Job? Someone left too many limbs attached.

So on a lark I bought a one lot of RGTI and collared it in my spec account. Watching it today & it is absolutely wild how it goes from negative to positive and back, on just one trade after another.
Bubbles be crazy.

Eh, it was Putin's b-day. I have no doubt he had input into it, and it got what he mainly wanted at that time: Trump's election.
No idea what Hamas thought they were going to get out of it.

The only thing coming out of today's Bondi hearing will be soundbites. If any of these Senators could actually think for themselves they'd know what the solution is. Bondi is just the latest manifestation of a systemic problem.

Also, it's not like we haven't gone through all of this before. Jackson and "let him enforce it", Wilson and the Palmer Raids, Nixon and Watergate.
This isn't ignorance of history, it's willful refusal to learn from evidence and logic.

The Attorney-General was an office that served as counsel to the king in merry old England. Trying to turn a lawyer who owes her employment to the Executive into an impartial officer of a republic is so obviously stupid it amazes me it ever was allowed.

From our rare books collection we have this illustration of Vampyroteuthis infernalis, also known as the vampire squid from hell. In an order of its own, we don't really think the vampiric moniker is fair either as they actually feed on detritus and not blood #EYAMonsters
A colour illustration of Vampyroteuthis infernalis. The main body is painted black, with eyes painted to look bioluminescent

After all that, gonna be obligated to short gold tomorrow for a trade. Def gone a bit too far in the short term, could use some kind of pullback.
Gold chart, showing a truly spectacular spike higher in the last week or so.

Getting close to the point where a short on TSLA could actually be rational. Been waiting & waiting. Volatility on it is finally back to normal, and today's spike was just wacky.
It's looking to break that high it set after the election last year. Gotta see what it does with that.
Chart of TSLA, showing it approaching the high it set after the election last year.

I don't remember Biden demanding to be allowed to torture us and "begrudgingly" refraining from doing so? I do remember the ICE commissar running a special torture program for trans people, but who can say whether or not Harris would have done the same. It's a real mystery.

That's actually hilarious given US underperformance.
I haven't run any numbers on this, but I'm pretty sure foreigners diving in is a very late in the game thing. Not a bullish sign afaik.

Yes, but not as much as gold. Gold is probably the most liquid trading vehicle out there. Everyone from central banks to pikers like me is in it.

VIX premium to realized is super high, 21 day realized is super low, 10 day volatility is lower than 21 day volatility, it's dead out there The SC's verdict on tariffs awaits, and is a very definite upside risk should they actually do the right thing. (LOL, I mean what are the chances?)

My work 401k has a fund that invests in small companies internationally, and it has been burning it up. Single-handedly making my otherwise very conservative little portfolio in there really blast away.
