We are flying and not getting a car, since there is public transportation. I may let the kids decide. Of course, I still need to nail down dates since my SO might have an appointment but might not. He is supposed to ask tomorrow to clarify. I really want to get stuff booked already

They are very close in price but we won't be cooking or at least I won't. The only hang up is included breakfast or having to go get food but it is downtown in a major city, so food is everywhere. Also a bit nervous having 2 18 year olds alone in a condo but they could be living in dorms far away.

man it's almost like it's possible to simultaneously hold the ideas that violence is bad AND that directly enabling violence has ironic consequences AND that the world is objectively better without Charlie Kirk in it at the same time and they all don't conflict with each other.

Wild shit, I know.

It isn't as easy as just moving. We have the savings to do it and could probably sell our house fairly easily. It is finding a job and getting the legal paperwork to make it happen. I have applied to a few things but either they won't hire from the US or they have enough local applicants already.

Treating women in pregnancy is a necessity, not a luxury. We shold not neglect treating mental health concerns just as we should treat high blood pressure (paraphrasing the expert)
