My grandmother loved to garden. She was always happiest when she was out in the yard, tending to her plants. So when she passed three years ago and I was asked if I wanted anything of hers, I requested a hardy plant that could be brought down here and put into my own yard.

Husband harvested the jalapeños from our plant and had enough to make exactly one bottle of hot sauce. Made with smoked garlic, peach and balsamic vinegar. Even as someone who doesn't really like spicy stuff I gotta say this is damn tasty.
