I made my first blue commander deck today and it won a five person tribal game at bracket 3.
I've never played any version of blue apart from a standard starter blue red deck. So I expected to lose.

The latest "usecase" of AI I've been shown and encouraged to use is yet again a downgrade, more time consuming, and less reliable version of non AI systems already in place that work perfectly fine for the "issues" AI is solving.

I took a year long break on a LaTeX project because last year was hell for me and I return to find overleaf has had a billion updates, over-cluttered UI, AI desperately trying to get me to use it, and generally enshitified.
This isn't helping me work out wtf I was doing a year ago.

Another day of witnessing bad hormone therapy knowledge from others and so another day of considering if the risk and cost of going back to uni to become an endocrinologist is worth it.
I do somewhat wish I had done that at uni instead of quantum physics masters.

Looking up if messages sent while blocked go through after unblocking and finding out they don't for all platforms I've blocked my abusive exs on has been surprisingly good for my brain. It's no longer tempting to unblock them to see what they sent because nothing will be there.

Even as an expert in defining things I don't think it's up to me as a white trans woman with my connection to ballroom being just friends in it to decide if "doll" needs redefining, what its definition is, and what a new definition should be.

Abigail Thorn's latest essay is the worst essay from a trans person I have ever read. It is harmful to the trans community and especially the ballroom community that she is not part of but has decided to attack and not listen to.

I woke after this when she'd fallen back asleep and found her phone charger cable(still plugged in)wrapped around her. She is a chronic "rolling up in the duvet to steal it from me" but rolling up in a phone charged cable is new. I somehow untangled her without waking her up or unplugging the phone
I bring a certain wake up at half four in the morning and fail to get back to sleep to the peaceful undisturbed night of rest that you really just can't find anywhere else
