THIS is what AI should be used for, not making art! Creating predictive models, moving away from animal testing, helping detect and prevent in healthcare!

My sweet Waardy boy Castiel passed away peacefully in his sleep. We were treating him for his heart failure and I guess his body just had enough... I'm grateful that it happened before he was in the final stages of the disease and went on his terms, but I still miss him so much...

This is great news! Hopefully it will continue to be researched so lab animal cruelty can be a thing of the past!
Research without lab animals? New tech is making it possible
For decades, scientists have worked to phase out the use of animals in research. AI, ‘lungs’ on a chip and more are bringing that goal closer.

This is so true! Back in '12 I had specific ringtones for the units I worked(ER-down with the sickness, Burn ICU-Firestarter)to know if I wanted to answer since it was invariably them short-staffed and wanting help. Nowadays, it's not even on vibrate, it's full silent & God help me if I misplace it.
2001: "I paid $0.99 for this Linkin Park song to be my ringtone."

2025: "I have not had my phone off of vibrate-only for ten years. People who have audible ringtones are psychopaths."
