They keep saying items were "snuck in".

Do they NOT READ these bills?
Senate Republicans snuck a special giveaway for themselves into the latest government funding bill — they can now sue the federal government for up to $500,000 in damages if their phone records were obtained during the Jan. 6 investigation.

Interestingly, both Charlotte and New Orleans are blue cities in an overwhelmingly red state.

Undocumented immigrants live in red cities too - just a few miles away. How come no Border Patrol is sent there? 🤔🙄

Senate update: Republicans are now trying to sneak a backdoor national abortion ban into their government funding bill. Republicans will stop at nothing to control women's health care decisions.

NEWS: Senate Republicans are threatening to block the extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies—unless Democrats agree to tougher abortion restrictions.
Republicans demand tougher abortion restrictions to extend Obamacare funds
Democrats say that’s a nonstarter, arguing there are already limits on abortion access. The dispute could torpedo a deal, leading to higher health insurance premiums for millions.

Another miscarriage of justice in the protection of women.

Teen rapes 2 girls and nearly kills one but judge gives him community service and he doesn't even have to register as a sex offender.

Would this have happened if he wasn't white or had a well connected family?

I've heard from more than one person today that no one in Congress (both Senate and House) are taking phone calls.

Everything is going to voicemail since they don't want to hear from UPSET constituents.

Has anyone got through today?

Today, it's Chuck Schumer.

And a lot of people so angry with the Democrats they won't vote for them again.

Good going @schumer.senate.gov and the #Hateful8

Democrat Jeanne Shaheen just voted with Republicans to end the gov't shutdown on the PROMISE of an ACA vote.

Her daughter is running for her New Hampshire seat after she retires. The apple doesn't fall from the tree so keep that in mind come election time.
She's retiring, but her daughter is running for office in 2026. If you want there to be a consequence for this betrayal, consider supporting one of the other candidates.

Heath Howard looks promising, in my opinion.

okay, so, with Dems successfully keeping anyone up in 2026 for voting for this turd let's take a look at who's up in 2026 anyway:

1. Cory Booker - apparently involved behind the scenes, constantly looking for bipartisanship. I don't dislike him personally but he doesn't have what we need. Primary.

Another measure to make Congress immune to rules other Americans are subject to.

If you are investigated for a crime, do you think the phone company or investigators would have an obligation to inform you that your data was being handed over?

No? So why does Congress get special treatment?
