I don’t like that there are cis alt girls sprinkled around the community that hate trans people bc that’s typically an archetype I feel relatively safe encountering in public spaces — like a dude in a MAGA hat I can spot from a mile away and know to watch out but these bitches are stealth agents!

Do NOT get this mixed up: The Republican party turned this country into an oligarchy. And the Dems just wagged their finger at them the whole way here. Issues with trans people and immigrants are in fact, the distraction from this.

This is horrible, and yet another stark reminder that the radical right's tirade against trans youth has severe and immediate consequences.
In a new lawsuit filed against Trump by state AGs, a family with a trans kid shares she died by suicide last month citing fears Trump would deny her access to gender-affirming care. "Her parents have expressed fear...that what happened to their daughter does not happen to other children."

In my years of reporting on LGBTQ news this was by far the hardest.

This is precisely the goal, and consequences of allowing cis men to define what is a woman.
Surprise Surprise... bathroom laws target cisgender women more often than trans ones, from a simple numbers game there are just so many more cisgender gender nonconforming people than there are trans people out there.

It will not be retroactive.
Very glad I and others encouraged people to get their passports in the lead up to Trump’s inauguration.

I want to be clear about where we stand with the EO:
The battlefield is now revealed. We know the pieces on it and their plans. It doesn't mean its lost or immediate.
But Trump has fired his first shot.
