I hate this time of the year, when my brain hormones are my greatest enemy. I want to crawl into the bed and stay there and everything is a chore. And I can’t afford this life.

Tonight we drank to my grandpa, who’s would have been 95 today, who passed in 2010. I knew him for only 19 year and he will always remain a pillar of my childhood, personal hero and an example of life lived alway looking ahead. Man who was nearly blind and with disabled hands yet never stopped.

Lessons on being the DM: it’s interesting to me, the more I do it, how much of being DM is about deciding whether my party is ready for this or that level of damage? Can I one shot somebody or will this lead to TPK? Also the sadness when the party kills your „fun” monster in one round 🥲 #dnd #dm

The misfit of demon’s king academy is about the gayest anime you can watch. The authors worked hard to show that both male characters have female love interests. But then they swear to keep each other kompany in hell 😅 #anime

Today from corporate Europe: private medical packages subsided by employer are a blessing if you have to visit any specialist monthly. It’s a miracle if you need it more.

21 and 22 of January are Grandmother’s and Grandfather,s days here. My remaining grandparents are old, their health is not great. I thought about taking each somewhere as a gift. So my and my gran are going to a violin concert. 1/?

Thoughts from open space in EU corporation: I’d really like if people would stop turning off the light overhead. Yes there is light coming through the windows, but some of us have bad eyesight and require higher amount of lumens to not struggle.

- be more patient, let them talk it out even if it takes forever but also plan better so certain things don’t take time out of sessions
- combat balancing is an art,
- when to guide my players vs letting them suffer for decisions stemming from inexperience #dnd #ttrpg

I feel no shame saying that I love #fanfiction, but it taught me that ever English speaker should have mandatory lesson in every grade to remind them that „definitely” and „defiantly” are two words with very different meaning.

Which makes #wrapped2024 very different from my previous ones, where the time listened would be in tens of thousands minutes, and my favourite song would have been played hundreds of times, not eleven like this year. I don’t really miss it either, my head is clearer and I am calmer. 2/2 #depression

Ignoring the previous post, my thoughts about #spotify #wrapped2024: I used to be a person who could not leave the house without headphones in, usually with one single song playing in loop. And then I went on regular medication and I noticed I abandoned many of my obsessive/escapist behaviours. 1/2
