Majority of Americans worship an obvious pathological liar & con-artist. They cheer everything he does (except on those rare occasions when he says something sensible like wear masks in a pandemic). If this doesn't show the need to teach kids how to critically think, then I don't know what does!

The Internet, especially social media has flooded us with information, but most of it is junk. If people in general were good at critical thinking then this inundation wouldn't be so harmful. We need to teach people, especially children, how to think objectively to defend them against misinformation

I would like to think that the majority of Democrats would immediately disown a Democratic politician if he/she did something like this. But Republicans don't seem to care. Why? Are they ignorant, amoral or both?

"A super fair & simple bill" according to Elon Musk. He's adopted Trump's tactic to brainwash voters; tell them what to think because they are too stupid to figure it out for themselves. Even if it's the opposite of the truth, it still works with a huge number of people.

Just give up on America. There are simply too many incredibly stupid American voters, and that's why the insurrectionist won. These are the very same people who think arming teachers with guns is the solution to mass school shootings, and that's just ONE example of their unbelievable stupidity.

Well, I disagree because many (not all) of the Russian people are innocent. Either they have been brainwashed by state media or they are powerless to stop Putin. He's actually an unlawful ruler as he employs coercion and fraud to win elections. However, having said all that, I still support Ukraine.

Latinos deserve it (well, the ones who voted for him do) as the majority of them voted for Donald Trump. He ridiculed them several times over and they still supported him. There are consequences for being stupid. Unfortunately, the rest of us have to pay the price as well.

People like you make me despair because you can't be reasoned with. If there was DNA or CCTV evidence or 1000 eye witnesses proving that Trump raped a woman you would STILL deny it. Some conspiracy theory that he was setup would appear and just like that you would accept it with zero evidence.

Trump is striving to end US democracy to gain absolute power to satisfy his narcissism. His personal needs outweigh the needs of everyone else combined. Such a person should be awarded Villain of the Year. It seems TIME didn't learn their lesson with Hitler.

What I don't understand about people who have that much money is why they are so driven to make more? Bezos doesn't even pay a decent wage to the very people who are primarily responsible for his vast fortune.

I despise far-right ideology, but let's take bias out and evaluate objectively. Yes, I believe that Russia coordinated a TikTok drive to promote Georgescu, but isn't the damage irreparable? Romanian voters have already been influenced so they will vote the same way again.

Buckle up? You give the impression that it's going to be like a really scary rollercoaster, but such things end and you usually come out unscathed. But in this case, I don't think America will come out unscathed at all. Actually, I believe Trump will turn it into a de facto dictatorship.
