It won't even be a *good* bit. It'll just be the Judy Hops "blood, blood, blood" thing.

Many of the titles on today's feature are probably familiar--they're among the most frequently banned books in recent years. Strong LGBTQ+ voices are more important than ever, and reading LGBTQ+ memoirs and nonfiction is a great way to become a more compassionate, kind person. /1

Being a tween can be hard--you're not a kid, you're not a teen, and you're trying to figure out who you are and where you fit into the world. Finding the right book can be a huge help! The books here are just a few of the great middle grade titles that feature LGBTQ+ characters or themes.

you think Frankenstein's monster is going to do something unspeakable to this woman, but it turns out he is misunderstood - he just wants to try on her clothes 😭
Frankenstein carrying an unconscious woman who looks a hell of a lot like Crepax's Valentina up the stairs - the bubbles read "Lectores: A que estais temiendo por la vida (y por la virginidad) de Zita?" and "Pero estad tranquilos... los gustos de Frankenstein son diferentes (je je je)..." Frankenstein's creature checking himself out in a full-length mirror wearing a garter belt, fishnet stockings, and stilettos, word bubble reads "¡Bel...lo!"

have been desperately looking for this old erotic Spanish comic I stumbled on almost 10 years ago called "El secreto de Frankenstein" and I'm so happy to report I finally found it
black & white comic panel depicting a sexy, thicc Frankenstein's monster disrobing in 3 different poses - pulling his shirt of his shoulder, seen at an angle; from the front, shirtless, beginning to take his pants off; then almost totally nude as seen from behind. the words at the top read "Strip-tease de Frankenstein..."
