What a find in All Beer.
Great end to our first pub crawl of 2026!

First time in 2026 we have got a bar to play Tragedy’s It’s Raining Men and I bloody love it!

Made it to stop 8, All Good where the draft is decent and the fridge looks interesting. It’s been a great day bar one place.

Stop 7 has totally made up for it. The Black Eel has a nice bar at front which was quiet but then stretches back into several areas which makes it feel almost like a speakeasy. A great addition to the Exale family.

Just wtf?, it got even worse, we had to be let out with a key by the security guard!

Stop 6 is Squeeze, a 40ft brewery bar. My advice is don’t bother! Minimum measure is 2/3 (which I hate) and beer choice is rather boring (none of their specials available). Shame as I normally like this brewery. Only good thing is the 80’s style London Transport maquette seats.

Stop 5 is Red Hand, with the usual good selection of beers that Graceland Bars have including an American Maple Brown Ale from Virginia Brewing. Very happy with today’s pubs so far.

Stop 4 is The Axe where we have Sierra Nevada Celebration Fresh Hop on cask and keg alongside a golden sour w/morello cherry by Holy Goat x Saint Monday - not too shabby!

Stop 2 was the Macintosh Brewery tap - a tiny place, but quite busy. Just their own two beers but both tasty.
Stop 3 is Jolly Butchers - quite a few beers in but only 2 we fancied!
Bears were a bit chilly so @queerbrewing.bsky.social helped them out 🤣

The bears are liking their first trip out this year too.

What a fab NYE and to top it off my favourite taxi driver took me home on time. The @thedodomicropub.bsky.social is such a great place to spend time in whether as a group, couple or flying solo!

Before the meal we spent a lovely time at the Design Museum Wes Anderson exhibition. I think my favourites were the miniature Grand Budapest Hotel and the weird vending machines
